Is it possible to have MTW simulate a double click, e.g. to select a word in an editor?

Hello,

yes, basically it can be simulated doing twice "mouse left button down" and "mouse left button up" like this:

<mlbd><mlbu><mlbd><mlbu>

Best regards,
Petr

Hi Petr,

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to say that your solution doesn't work reliable: very often not the word at the cursor is selected but the next word:

In the example:

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

When I place the cursor before the 'f', and execute the macro via a hotkey, the word 'quick' is selected.

This can be reproduced on my system.

BTW: I've inserted a <wx> between the two clicks.

Wouldn't it be a better solution to have a real double click? IMO this is a very basic command.
