This has happened to me before, and it happened again after the latest
Macro Toolworks update on my Vista machine...

At startup, this message appears: "The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you
want to run this software?" for C:\Program Files\Macro Toolworks\StartMacroToolworks.exe.
Even after unchecking the "Always ask before opening this file" option, the
error message appears each time the system boots.

Web research turned up this solution that looked promising:
1. Open the Properties dialog for StartMacroToolworks.exe.
2. At the bottom of the General tab, click the Unblock button.

However, this change wouldn't "take." Apparently Vista doesn't allow this change to
files in the \Program Files directory, even for administrators.

Fortunately, there is an easy workaround:
1. Move StartMacroToolworks.exe and _prog.exe to a location outside the \Program
files
directory.
2. For both files, open the Properties dialog and click the Unblock button.
3. Move both files back into the C:\Program Files\Macro Toolworks\ directory.

You're welcome.
