Hello,

If you want to use Office programs through automation interface then you need to use VBScript. Professional edition comes with VBScript compatible language and integrated IDE (debugger, UI designer, editor). There are very simple examples how to create VBScript macros in the help file or our web site. In addition you can try these two, for example:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms950396.aspx
http://www.w3schools.com/vbscript/default.asp

I'm sure you will find many other if you simply search for "VBScript" on internet.
