I have many v6.31 macros like this:
.asap
which expands to:
as soon as possible
I liked the feature in v6.31 for case insensitive/follow case checkboxes
(see Macro triggers tab on any macro)
In v6.31, I get the expected expansion like this:
asap --> as soon as possible
Asap --> As soon as possible
ASAP --> AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
However, the new version does not do this. Even though the macro text is:
as soon as possible
The expansion I get is this:
asap --> As soon as possible
Asap --> AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
ASAP --> AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
As you can see, this is not grammatically advantageous (at least in English).
As it is now, I ALWAYS get a capital A in the first word and using a capital A
in the text shortcut expands to all capitals instead of just the first letter
of the first word. Is this intentional in the new version or a bug? Help file
says I'm right. I sure hope it is just an oversight and not intended.
