Hello,
a few weeks ago I had some problems regarding Perfect Keyboard and the usage in a Citrix environment. So I needed some help from Macro Toolworks support.
It was impressive to see how professional the support was and
how much time they splashed out on me with bugfixes and beta versions!
Big thanks to Mr. Pitrinic of Macro Toolworks!!!
Now I could say that the coming version 7.4.7 will be fully Citrix compatible!!
A big feature in a endless list of other features.
Thanks

Hi,
I had tested my Citrix environment together with PK Versions 7.4.6 (final): Standard, Professional and FreeMacroPlayer. Due to my available licences I use Standard version and FreeMacroPlayer in production environment.
I use no special user definition files (ini-Files). The users start the programm normally by Start-Programs. It seems to be no problem with several instances on Citrix. But try to use a central static data file for all users (see below)!
For macro-data I use a central destributed mandatory *.fmp-File (created by PK Professional from a normal 4pk-data file).
This file I had set within the options.ini on the citrix-server as default data-file.
There is one user which adds new macros to a draft data file and converts it to the central mandatory *.fmp file (publishing on file server).
At the options.ini you have to set some defaults (disable autosave etc.) which you can set at gui at your system and copy the changed options to the citrix server (caution: the file contains also the machine specific licensing information).
Licensing is made at the citrix server as normal admin at the Perfect Keyboard GUI - once for all users (due to licensing info at registry path hklm).
I hope this helps.
Thomas

Hi,
I've just started working with a company that uses Citrix on their network and I was wanting to find out who to contact for tech support if that will be necessary. Is Petr available for this? Thanks,
Dave
