Hey together ,

I have a little Question :

Is it possible to put data to the Clipboard like a GIF-File?
I found Options to but text to the clipboard and these CLX-Files.
Or is it possible to create a CLX File from a GIF?

You're on the right track. I've done this in the past.

Basically what I did:

1. Manually right-click on an image that I have opened in Windows Preview, and choose COPY to place it in the clipboard.
2. Used MTW's Write Clipboard to file.
3. Whenever I need to load this image into the clipboard, I'd use MTW to load the .CLX file.
4. Then I can paste that image into my email or Word document, etc. with a standard paste command.

You can possibly skip step 1 and 2 have your macro do the copy and write to CTX.

other option would be to use <run_ctxcommand> with the gif file and "Copy" as parameters. For more details look at the help file:
