Subject :Q: I'm using Windows 7 and Macro Toolworks (Perfect Keyboard) does not work in some applications.

Q: I'm using Windows 7 (Vista) and Macro Toolworks (Perfect Keyboard) does work OK in some applications but does not work in some other applications. What is the problem?

A: The problem can be that the applications run with other privileges (elevated) than the Macro Toolworks does. To make sure the problem is caused by this you can run Macro Toolworks elevated too by starting it using "StartMacroToolworksAsAdmin.exe" that you can find in installation folder.
If (after you start the Macro Toolworks as admin) you see that the Macro Toolworks started to work with the applications it did not used to then the problem is that each of them was running with different privileges.
In such a case the solution is to have two Macro Toolworks instalations and run two instances of Macro Toolworks. One instance started normal way and the other started as admin. Just make sure that each instance uses it own macro file so that there is not a macro file access conflict.
