I used to run a program called Active Words, which is no longer compatible with my system. I'm wording if Perfect Keyboard allows anything as simple to launch programs as typing a simple assigned word, which can be set up in a couple of keystrokes.

(I'm also wondering why the text doesn't wrap in this editor.)

Hello,

yes, this is possible. Perfect Keyboard can be brought to front of your screen on a hotkey and then you can use, for example, Ctrl+T key shortcut to create such a launching macro from a template you previously create.
